Postion of the Vatican on Lay Apsotolates

Section 900 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church instructs us that we are entrusted with the apostolate by virtue of Baptism and Confirmation. It is our "right and duty, individually and grouped in associations, to work so that the divine message of salvation may be known and accepted by all men throughout the earth...Their activity in ecclesial communities is so necessary that, for the most part, the apostolate of the pastors cannot be fully effective without it." (from Catechism of the Catholic Church with Modifications from Editio Typica, Image (Doubleday):New York, 1997. [ISBN: 0-385-47967-0])

The Faith Walk Center is a Catholic lay apostolate committed to teaching Christians the principles of faith taught by Jesus and His apostles. Working together with Protestant ministers, the Faith Walk Center remains in obedience to the Bishop of Knoxville, TN and the Pope, His Holiness Benedict XVI.

The teachings of the Catholic Church are best stated in the Nicene Creed which is recited weekly in Catholic services—the Mass. The Faith Walk Center and its teachings are faithful to Sacred Scriptures, Sacred Tradition, and the Magisterium.

The Faith Walk Center is a division of the Torah's Light Hebrew Catholic Center. At present, neither is 503(c)(III) as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, although steps are being taken to meet those requirements. However, donations for the support of this site and the ministry are greatfully accepted. At present, they are NOT tax-deductable.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, "I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life"—John 8:12
